Unhealthy relationships can start early and last a lifetime. Teens often think some behaviors, like teasing and name-calling, are a “normal” part of a relationship—but these behaviors can become abusive and develop into serious forms of violence.

CDC, Preventing Teen Dating Violence

Teen dating violence affects millions of teens in the United States each year.

We at Auctiat think that young people deserve better.

We can imagine a world in which teenagers use communication and conflict management skills in relationships instead of violence.

We can picture them having the tools to identify and manage their feelings, self-validate, and connect positively.

Our solution

We're going to put relationship education where it's accessible to everyone with access to a smartphone, tablet, or computer.

We're going to make it fun and interactive.

We're going to challenge stigma, fear, and ignorance and replace them with knowledge and confidence.

Our reward

If people learn healthy relationship skills while they're young, they'll carry that knowledge with them into adulthood.

The more people in our society who choose kindness, respect for one another, and self-confidence, the safer and happier we'll all be.

Dating violence can be prevented when teens, families, organizations, and communities work together to implement effective prevention strategies.
